Faith & Service
"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it," Proverbs 22:6
Our Faith Guides Our Learning
We offer students daily opportunities to learn about and put their faith into action through service learning projects, prayer, Mass, and Religion classes. Our on-site chapel provides a designated place for students to pray and reflect throughout the day. The entire student body also participates in a monthly Mass service. Religion classes are offered to students at all grade levels.
Service Learning & Mission Trips
Students regularly engage in school-wide local days of service as well as service learning projects, organized nationally and abroad, throughout the school year. Recently, CCHS students traveled to Jamaica to help the Missionaries of the Poor. This past Spring, students organized a day of service where all students participated in projects throughout the community including bringing baked goods to the elderly, community beautification and collecting canned goods for a food drive. Service learning projects teach our students the importance of helping others and how to organize large-scale efforts.
